Hypocritical commentary
Emotional robots? Westworld remake?? Jakob Neilson???
I'm almost too scared to post here.
Seems to me that an emotional toaster is just about the last thing I'd want. "It was goldeny brown and perfect but did he say 'Thanks'? No, not 'Mr. Crunch-n-Run' ... so I toasted the curtains and burned the house down."
I have nothing to say about Neilsen other than he, but Colourbox did some awesome things with Westworld samples.
I was still mulling over the whole sideburns envy thing when I got to the Westworld remake. I enjoyed the trip to that fact.
Sideburns? huh
It's always valuable to see that people can find some salient points in my oft-meandering diatribes.
Who knew Westworld would strike such a chord? Have to make a note about remaking movies that don't need to be remade.

Sideburns can be disconcerting, Deannie. I know. Envy of sideburns, even more so. It's not pretty. Envy I mean. Sideburns are super pretty.
I am a bit concerned with remakes of both Westworld and Logan's Run, not so much as that Hollywood is forced to churn out bad movies based on ideas taken from some previous form of media, but because Hollywood churns out bad movies on ideas taken from some previous form of media and the public will shell out ten buck just to see if it ends the same way.
Of course, as long as stuff blows up in both movies, I'm there. My taste in cinema is pretty simple like that.
I've been watching the late-night replays of the NBA Playoffs to see if they end the same way. So, unfortunately, I think I resemble that remark.
As long as they get this "futuristic" stuff straight before taking on the Buck Rogers remake. That's all I'm asking.
Not that anyone could really improve on Twiki, although I get the sneaking suspicion that Small Wonder tried.
