SOMEBODY has to step up... if it's Span, fine. None of these guys (Pridie, Gomez, Span) are making me really excited for '08 at this point. I don't think the Twins disrespected him at all. The guy hit .220 or something in Rochester. If this is what it takes to get him to take the next step then cool. Hope to see all of our CF candidates bring it in spring training! =)
Oh Boo hoo Ive never ever been sold on Span. The twins needed to go get a center fielder to fill the role with the major league ballclub this year so the at least feel partially the same way I do. If for any reason he was slapped in the face it was because hes failed to meet the expectations that are/were set out for him. So my advice to you Denard is put up or shut-up and start runnin with that parachute to get your speed up cause gomez will smoke you in a race and at this point all you have is speed and a glove and I dont think it can hang with Gomez'
