I'm not all that hyped on keeping Santana. He's a good pitcher, but he gives up a LOT of home runs. There were a number of games last year while he was bitching that the Twins needed to get him some big bats, that he should have been looking in the mirror. He wouldn't need a couple of extra bats if he'd not give up a couple of home runs.
With Frankie coming back - and having seen him, I really have no doubts about Frankie's return - I think Santana is expendable, especially for the kind of money he wants.
The Yankees deal isn't bad, but I'd jump on a chance to land Ian Kennedy almost any day of the week.
I'd like to "try" to keep Johan first personally.
I just love having him on this team, and a guy that gives you a chance almost everytime out.
Out of all of the deals I've heard, the Dodgers one seems best.
I'm not all that excited about pitchers being talked about in a deal, I would rather get some hitting.
