I regret being so shy about painting my walls a color besides white. My reticence in home decorating screams: Boring Weenie!
Since my kids are grown and gone, it's not so silly, but I was a neat freak around the house. I should have let the house go and gone outside to play more.
This is great. I regret spending most of my fall clothing allowance in 6th grade on a pair of pinstripe jeans and not having enough left for any regular jeans. Darn it if I didn't have to spend the whole durn year in those terrible things. I don't think I've bought anything trendy ever since.

I do regret coming home on time from Spain when my friends stayed another week. I came back to a job I knew was ending, but sense of responsibility wouldn't let me do it.
Yes Jonti, That would be the one. And I don't regret the trip either, not even the multiple Jaggermiester inspired "nap". Oh, but I do feel badly about you leaving Spain for stupid ol' work. Stupid work.
