Maybe, before making blanket statements, go there and see for yourself. I have been there and know Rabbi Kaminetzky personaly. He is a great man and is dedicated to his cause and seeks no honour for himself.

Yes, that CJP of Boston still supports the Jewish community of Dnepropetrovsk with full knowledge of virtual fusion between Rabbi Kaminetzky and the oligarchs of Ukraine.because they know that their money is being used properly to a dgood cause and also the "oligarchs" doesn't always meen corruption, just people who have lots of money.

I can only comment on the last year's CJP budget, it shows investment of $357,000 (via JCRC) in Dnepropetrovsk. There are no Jews with financial resources of Viktor Pinchuk for example in the entire Jewish community of Boston. Victor and many others support Kaminetzky. Boston's Jewish community on the other hand is anemic and in grave need of urgent infusion with thousand of Jewish kids (many from Russia) who can't afford Jewish schooling. In this light the decision of CJP to invest in Dnepropetrovsk appears as a misguided judgment or even dereliction of duty towards the Jewish community of Boston.

Now, dear Tzemach your not thining.
When jews in Boston see the "cause" that the JCC is spending money on, they tend to give much more money than they usually will give.
I am sure that lots of money the Boston community uses for itself, is made through the advertising of their work in Dnepropetrovsk.
Think Tzach in Israel and children of chernobyl

Another point lots of the aid boston gives is not necesserialy money, they also send docters and proffesianals whose help is direly needed.

Go to Dnepropetrovsk and see for your self, the hospitals and special need centers for children staffed by your very dear "landsmen" from boston. I wouldn't want Pinchuk getting anyware near me with a needle.....

Funny! But seriously CJP has shipped millions of dollars out of Boston while this community was in slow death. Dnepropetrovsk is part of a larger problem in this regard. And besides, knowing CJP they probably spent all the money on this:
