Lubavitchers often look down on other Jews for no good reason, and now it is coming back to bite us: other Jews consider us treif for no good reason; i.e. for believing that the Rebbe could still be Moshiach (which, even according to Gil Student, is not kefirah (even though he would still like to say that it is)).

Funny thing: the anti-Chabad rhetoric used by the virulently anti-Semitic web sites (just do a google search on the Seven Laws of Noah) is indistinguishable from that of any virulently anti-Chabad site (like the one that is linked to from this blog).

L'moshol, a Luvavitcher will only take his Tefillin to be checked by a Lubavitcher Sofer (without regard to what kind of yerei shomayim he might be), whereas the non-lubavitcher will take his Tefillin to anyone except a Lubavitcher (once again ignoring the individual Sofer's yiras shomayim).

Rubbish. Any sofer who is a G-d-fearing Jew and knows the Alter Rebbe's shittos in STA"M would qualify. I had my Rashi tefillin WRITTEN by a non-Lubavitcher!
