I heard it was lubavitch of tenafly. (Rabbi Shain) I also heard that Herson (head Shliach of New Jersey) and Krinsky want a piece of the pie. Is Shain going to give into the pressure or will he fight for what is right?

Here comes the money hugry "Head shliach" and money hungry "leader" of lubavitch

Gravatar To anonymous (both of you)
You make as if he is being forced into giving something he doesn't want to. Do you know this for a fact, or are just spewing your obvious disgust for the people in charge? Is it wrong for him to give some of the money (of which he has more then he knows what to do with) to headquarters to in turn use it for other things? You make as if it will be going into there personal pockets. Get a life.

Gravatar In my humble opinion he should give equally, $10,000 to every Chabad shliach in the world. Take for himself a little, invest the rest and never have to fund raise for his Chabad House (which is very nice as it is!) ever again.

Gravatar you had better be careful suggesting such a thing. Soon you'll be labled a "greedy head shliach" or something of that nature.

Gravatar Since when do the Head Shluchim help out the local shluchim?

Gravatar Here's my suggestion: he uses the money to start a fund to subsidise the exorbitant fees many Lubavitcher yeshivas are charging to people who really cannot afford them.

Gravatar I'm saying *every* shliach should get some money, equally.

Tzvi - hahaha. In the ba'al teshuva yeshivas it's really not so bad. There is only one place that really asks you to pay something, but they'll always work with you. How bad is it in FFB yeshivas?

Gravatar It now appears that it could be as much as $550 mil. See col.org.il of taday.

Gravatar TA: Is it possible we could see some investivgative reporting on this story ( Just finished reading everything you have written about Chabad in Russia and Lazar, Leveiv and Putin. Genius! Thank you.)
