I couldn't watch it all. How awful. Children. Don't know what to say.
A Hebron spokesman issued the following statement:
Not only are the police, army and other security forces preparing for this summer's planned expulsion program. So are the courts. It is clearly evident, without any doubt, that today's ruling is the newest in a set of 'scare tactics' utilized to frighten would-be protesters. It makes no difference that this event occurred in Hebron, and that the participants were children.
Judge Cohen, it seems, has little regard for the law or for the citizens he is supposed to serve. A pawn in the Sharon game of Israeli suicide, his ruling is an absurdity of justice, and another in the long list of strategies drawn up to repress freedom of expression, i.e., dissent, i.e. opposition to expulsion and abandonment of our land. Judge Amnon Cohen must be immediately dismissed from his judicial post, and the girls released, unconditionally, without delay.

These things are so infuriating and unbelievable!
Can someone please explain to me what is going on with Sharon?? I am simply unable to truly understand this man - a man who fought for Israel and understands the realities of the region better than anyone... How does a man who seems to have been a true warrior, evolve into the second coming of Yitzchak Rabin? I just don't get it.
It seems that every Israeli politician in my lifetime loses their mind once they're elected PM! Begin, Shamir, Bibi, Arik... they sound great until they get into office, but what happens then?
And Jews are supposed to be smart?

There is an ongoing battle around the clock, not enough manpower to take pictures.
Frequently, cameras are being pulled out of the hands of journalists and destroyed by policemen.
Two days ago there was a rally in front of Matityahu Detention Center for the Disengagement protesters (new facility), mostly of 13-17 year old kids.
They were beaten up badly, so that the judge that they were brought in front of to extend their detention, expressed her disdain by how they looked like, with all the bruises.

Such brutal tactics are the legacy of the Jewish Bolsheviks who founded secular Israel. How ironic to see the same mentality nisgalgel as "post-Zionism."

Some might say that this proves that until they had gotten the top job, they didn't really know what they were talking about! If getting the job changed men like begin and Sharon, maybe they found out things that we don't know?
Now that is a scary thought.
But I don't buy it - They don't change rhetoric, they just change their actions. Bibi, for example, still talks the talk - he just wasn't able to walk the walk - and Begin openly stated regrets over his return of Sinai... It just seems that they are overwhelmed once they come into office or something... maybe they're just not up to the task, or unable to "play with the big boys?" I dunno, I can't figure it out.
