Your mental block, like the matzoh you've eaten the past week, will eventually pass. Eventually. Probably not unrelated.

Ah yes, the pigeons of health. (I think on the first night, they are pigeons of faith.) http://rebeljew.blogspot.com/

After years, I am still trying to find an acceptable old (Rishonim or earlier) JEWISH source for this practice. I am also trying to find the Rosner article of May '92 NY Journal of Medicine about the practice.

While we're cooling our jets, does anyone know if there is a minyan and / or kosher food in Tokyo Japan?

I do not know particulars, but I know it exists and I could find out if necessary. In fact, in Kobe, there is still a community and synagogue, I believe. The Japanese did not share the Nazi attitude on "The Jewish Question".

There appears to be a Chabad presence in Tokyo. Rabbis M. Sudakevich and B. Edery. But I don't know if they represent 2 separate Chabad houses. Am curious if anyone knows the situation in Tokyo. Will i"yh travel there on business next week and am trying to get the lay of the land.

I hear Sudakevich is the official shaliach, while Edery belongs to the breakaway moshiachist movement.

hello, Tzmach
you seem extremely enlightened, i stumbled upon your sight while researching new exercises for a student of mine who has mild hydrocephalus. I am not Jewish. There are many terms I am not familiar with. I enjoyed your photos, and choice of art. Please find it in your heart to forgive "we" inarticulate Americans, most of us are comepletely benign.
Thank you for the thought provocation.
