Gravatar aaron zalman sharpe, not sure it is true about potatoes but can you provide some visual aid to this post :?:

Gravatar Yichus is very much above ground. Why, with the proper Yichus you can pretty much behave like a Shvartze on crystal meth and still get yourself a high score on the Shidduch-o-meter.

Gravatar B"H
The issue is Erica how will those people feel after the shiduch will they live happily ever after or
G-d forbid the opposite.
By the way this doesn't really always work like that I as I know from personal experience (I am a BT but have 4 generations of Chernobyller Rebbes in my yichus thus being also related to the Rebbe himself)but I doubt too many shpitz Chabadnikim would rate me high on a shiduch-o-meter as you put it nor do I feel to bad about it :-)

Gravatar The difference of course is what happened between the time your zeides (??) were rebbes and you. Therin der hunt ligt bagroben. Interestingly, in the last few years there have been a few shidduchim between geza and baalei teshuva ( russians on the BT side, usually with no money). I'm still looking for the obvious signs of genetic or other disorders on the geza side but everything seems to be in order. Is something REALLY changing in Lubavitch? I have a freind who tanes that previous generations were less 'elitist' toward shidduchim with BT, interesting to know if that is really the case.

Gravatar what do you call "previous generations"?
