Wow!! This statement seems to have been made solely for shock value. After all to restate the obvious will get no notice. So the alternative is to say things that run counter to every person's view of the situation, and then you've got things moving!! The Rebbe's "struggle was a failure"!?!
You are obviously a great success!! Yehi ratzon that with the Rebbe's bracha you one day really will be!!

After this comment that the captain has abandoned his ship which is a very sad statement about you and your connection and Yirei Shmamayim.

I here will never post or look at your site again.

Reb Neal

Scotty beam me up!!!!!!!!!!

I too will no longer look daily at this site. I now include you with the lowest of the low for making that unwarranted statement. I want to be associated with no one even close to such an individual of such shallow mind.

good bye!

you have to eleborate a little more if you want compete with a multi million dollar propaganda machine , CHAZAK ,we heard about yud shvat in preschool before Shma Yisroel.

On Yud Shevat you post something like this. I gotta tell you that Lubavitch and Ch has pitty on for even letting you come and visit CH. That shows how nice chabad chasidim are. In WIllyland they would drive up and chop off you unmarried balls.

If you belive in a G-d you would never write statements like that and not be scared of retribution from ABOVE.

I am off and your site is off my favorites bye bye asta lavista

Gravatar TA,
I once read the same thing written about the passing of the Rebbe Rashab by a certain maskil (I can't remember who it was right now). He wasn't a frum fellow, but he wrote something along the lines of:

"With the passing of the Rebbe Rashab, Chabad has lost any hope of a future. And the incompetence of the new Rebbe has left orphan chassidim with no hope of rebuilding the greatest and highest of all chassidic paths."

I suspect there were those in every generation who said that about the changing leadership... Nu, Nu. But I find it interesting that it is the non-participants who are the most troubled by it.

(I have many thoughts about this, but I won't bore you with them)

Gravatar Tzemach, objectivity I understand, but such a sick, empty statement?
I am surprised that you sink so low, just to start some controversy.
You yourself told me,” I don’t know much, my Blog is a method for me to do research, I find out my info from the comments”.
I don’t know what you’re trying to uncover. Do yourself a favor, be a Mench and rewrite your article with a little more respect.
,

Gravatar Very dissapointed in you Tzemach. I thought you were better than that. Goodbye forever

Gravatar Tzemach a good way to get rid of all the feeble minded morons who can't take the heat.

I do disagree with you somewhat, however.Lubavitch had changed a lot under R'Yosef Yitzchok and actually under his watch the old misnaged/chasidic wars ,which had basically disapeared came back with a vengeance.I don't know who was to blame, but I was taught that it takes two for tango.Lubavitch has done lots of good, much of which is/was self serving, but nonetheless, credit must be given where credit is due.To blame the Lubavitcher Rebbes for not totally stopping assimilation is to expect to much from two individuals, they tried their best.

Gravatar Actually Classical Luavitch ended in 1920 with the death of the Rebbe R. Sholom Ber and the Soviet Revolution.
While some Lubavitchers maintained their Chassidic identity , for most it was just a struggle to remain frum.BUt the Rayaatz preserved the forms , vocabulary and even personna (he was the son of the rebbe) of Classical Chabad.
The Rayaatz was as confused by events after 1927 as others were.
His Chassidim remained in Russia. He did not know where to go to Latvia, Poland, maybe the US or maybe even Palestine..
His attitud towards Israel changed after the Holcoaust.
The Holcoaust caught him of guard and again he chose to flee , but I would not call that abandoning ship as he had very few followers in Poland. How many Chabad people lived in Warsaw, Lodz, Lublin, Bendin, Radom, Cracow, etc probably not more than 500 souls. Only in the Vilna area were there large numbers of Chaside Chabad and Nusach Ari Jews.

Gravatar The fact is that he is absolutely correct.

Gravatar you need to consider not associating yourself with yud shevat the rebbe or the frierdiker rebbe. don't write about them don't mention them in passing, your objective negativaty is most disconcerting.
