Gravatar More details please.

Gravatar This you find out only now? You are not a very dedicated' 'chosid'!

Gravatar It's dangerous talk to speak about there being another Rebbe. And if I'm wrong, there are so many better candidates!

Gravatar Tzemach,
is this a witch hunt, or will you substantiate your assertion with hard facts.

Gravatar Yup, I've wondered about this incongruency for a while.... Reb "Girsh" is a true chossid of the Rebbe!

Gravatar He davens in the Rebbe's room - something which most miSHIITES don't do

Gravatar Hirshel Bisk is no one's lackey. He can daven in the Rebbe's room and be a staunch mishichist. I think it's called independent thinking, could be wrong though.

Gravatar The definition of moshiachist is not clear. Some (myself included) define a moshiachist as anyone who thinks the Rebbe is moshiach. I suspect Tzemach does too.

Gravatar If you ask Hirshel he will never give you a straight answer but I can tell you this he runs his own Heider, his kids are in that Heider and they say Yechi every time they Daven. What that makes him? I say that makes him a Moshichist.

He also told me on Sunday that “Rav Volpe wrote a world shattering book”. What that makes him? That makes him a primitive idiot.

Gravatar Rav Volpe? Sorry, man. It might give you comfort to think so, but Volpe is a real lamdan (the shas vepeiskim kind). Dismissing someone liking his book/s as a primitive idiot is, well, just boorish.

With that, I do not think Hirsh fits into a convenient box regarding meshichism. I thinks he believes the Rebbe is moshiach but is very uncomfortable with the stress on this issue, since it detracts from the hiskashrus with the Rebbe as “the Rebbe” and almost puts a “condition” on that relationship (or something to that effect). That may be the reason he is reluctant to “give you a straight answer,” but, as you know, he is certainly not one of those establishment-types that are embarrassed by the belief itself.

My own two cents: Hirsh is not a “yellow fever” moron, and any other kind of meshichism is fine with me.

Gravatar It just seems that his cosmos reached an ideological impasse. Meeting him for me was a major calamity of my life. For me he was the sign of death and it is midah ke neged midah now…

Gravatar Every light has it's shadow and Hirshel's shadow is the totalitarian vision that kills everything in it's path… He was sent by the Rebbe to kill unborn Jewish souls.

Gravatar Wolpe is a scoundrel, a man who owes millions of dollars that he will never repay, and a man who was told by the Rebbe specifically not to get involved in any inyonim relating to Moshiach and he went directly against the Rebbe's wishes. Wolpe is a fanatical egomaniac, and a liar--he claims the Rebbe gave him permission to print in one of his seforim that the Rebbe claimed to be Moshiach and the Rebbe never gave him permission in fact he never said any such thing!!!!

Gravatar and he is no *real* lamdan (shas uposkim) either (outside of Lubavitch cricles).

Gravatar I have been misunderstood. My comment about Rav Volpe was about calling his book "world shattering" not about Rav Volpe per se. I don’t know his lomdus and I am sure he is outstanding yid. Hirshel though is a stubborn ox.

Gravatar Anybody who can call Wolpes book on Moshiach a world shattering book is a world class moron on crack.
I remember bursting in laughter where he uses a comment made by a chosheveh yid,at the beginning of the 'nesius' 'this guy thinks he is moshiach' as some kind of visionary compliment, seeing what will happen 40 years down the line as a compliment. In fact everybody knew it was a harsh critique. In another 'tidbit' he shows how the Rebbes signature changed over the years to resemble the word moshiach in hebrew, another proof according to him that moshiach is a work in process.
''Volpe is a real lamdan (the shas vepeiskim kind''.
MESHUGASS and 'peiskim' is more like it.

Gravatar if you hate him so much, why did u initially nominate him to be the lubavitcher rebbe?

Gravatar tzemach what do you mean that bisk was sent by the rebbe to kill unborn jewish souls?

Gravatar ooops, I should have written "shas upeiskim", not "vepeiskim".
- chotosi.

Gravatar Anybody that thinks the Lubavitcher Rebbe is Moshiach ein lahem chalek b'Elokei Yisroel, and if they ever knew how to learn it was a waste.

Gravatar nu nu... vos farsteit a muktzoh-machmas-mius misnaged in "eleikim" un in "yisroel" dertzu?

Gravatar Your sinas chinam is much appreciated Berl. I'd put my stock w/ The Gaon, the Brisker Rav etc.... over a bunch of drunk yellow flag waving meshugaim that Chabad produces. Let's not forget Ariel Sololowsky who thinks the rebbe is G-d (chas veshalom). The fact is though, before I post here I fax the ohel, and do a computer check through the sichos. Let's face it, much of Chabad as it stands today is not chassidus, but rather a crazy cult. Enjoy your cult Berl, I'll take Yiddishkeit chasidish or misnagdish any day. L'chaim to Berl the Moshiachist v'sonei Yisroel b'chinam

Gravatar SDR, Berl is not Meshichist.

Gravatar What about the necktie? Is it good or bad ?

Gravatar He also has the microphone the "baton" of leadership in present day Chabad.

Gravatar SDR claims that my words indicated I was a "sonei Yisroel b'chinam".

v'sonei Let the honorable court record hat I did not express any hatred toward him. What I expressed was a sincerely felt profound revulsion.

Yisroel: naamidei bechezkosei and, though I have my doubts, I will grant him that point.

chinnom: The aforementioned feeling of revulsion was a well deserved reaction to the "ein lahem chalek b'Elokei Yisroel" pronouncement. So, as they say, "kosher fardint".

Gravatar "muktzoh-machmas-mius misnaged"??????

Gravatar Let's make one thing clear: I have never-ever on this blog expressed my personal views on meshichism. Even the comments on the "yellow fever" morons did not shed any light on my opinion on the underlying idea/belief. And I am not planning to make such comments in the future.

Gravatar Berl,
I'd love to hear what you think re:meshichism. Believe it or not I used to daven in a Chabad minyan until the Rav commented that Rav A. Kotler killed bochrim during the war. What saieth thou?

Gravatar BTW my apologies for the tone of my earlier comment. I've had a really terrible week as my brother in law was niftar @ 35 y/o. I guess I took some of my stress out on you in that post. A GUT VOCH und A GUT YAHR!

Gravatar SDR, I am sorry for your loss. Ihr zolt mer nit visen fun ken=in tzaar.
