The problem with Lipa and Matt is not that they exist. Far worse goyishe music is out on the street, starting with this s***. The problem is that L&M etc. are being significantly accepted in the Jewish community. As Berl previously noted, the problem is not the שועלים but rather the הלכו בו.
I sincerely hope that that will not be an issue here. But were it not for the success of Lipa, Matt et al, this "project" would never have been contemplated.

What you don't understand is they are not 'Meshichistim' in the Israeli fanatical sense - they are probably regular 'Aguchnicks' who also believe in the resurrection of the "Rebbe ZT'L" as Moshiach, why is that so difficult to understand?

Midyonim? who the hell are they? are they a recent development or what? or have you just made it up? something like the 'Yasharnicks' (aka the 'Derech Ha Yashar' campaign) which was just a temporary Israeli attempt to drum up interest within Chabad about whatever moshiach issues they felt important?
to be quite honest - i think that i'm with most Lubavitchers when i say this - 'Israeli Lubavitchers are for the most part a much of hot-headed meshuganers' - and I really don't have much time for whatever new thing they come up with in the name of 'Chabad/Lubavitch' or whatever each faction is now calling themselves.
The point is, The Schneersohn Band is made up of Black Metal playing Lubavitch Yeshivah kids in Crown Heights and beyond, they are fascinated and interested in death (like lots of 'Goth' teenagers) and hard/heavy metal - they are angry, disillusioned and believe that the Rebbe did die, but will rise from his grave -(i imagine) in a 'Thriller-like' resurrection of the dead!
