My original phrase 'yellow fever' was intended for a very specific expression of the meshichist ideology, namely the flag-waiving, lapel-buttoned, kiddush-levono-eisieis-yechi-on-yarmolke-wearing one. I consider this ‘yellow fever alert’ a gross misuse of my copyright. No legal action is contemplated, but I am asking you to respect my creative rights and to please to ‘cease and desist’ from any further misappropriation. ;)

What? You guys don't already know that Matis is a yechi-nik? You could have figured it out by default. What else do you expect from a guy who was niskareiv by the chitzon from NYU and spent 12 months in 824 Eastern Pkwy with RYW and the Kool-Aid drinkers there? The guy is takke a sweetheart, an erlicher dude who keeps up ChiTa"S an RaMBa"M and davens a 15 min. maariv. But his chinuch is sorely, sorely lacking. His chasidus in no less shallow and pediatric than the rest of his twentysomething BT Crown Heights counterparts who don't happen to be reggae stars.
