After his escape from, :-), Warsaw, he was in a wheelchair.
The letters were signed by The Rebbe, Rashag, and Reb. Nechome Dine. They were essetially michtovim klollim to anash. i've seen two or three, there might have been more. I'm assuming this was all before yud Shevat 5711. AS to the video above, it seems to be SSD version that was put out a number of years ago; the JEM version is alot clearer.
I wish to remind everyone that tomorrow, Mon. is the Fast of Esther. The fast begins at 4:30 AM Boston time.
There is one such letter that is printed in The Igros of the Frierdiker Rebbe.
So it's not about the content of the letters? Just the fact that they were written shows that there was a sharing of authority? Is that it?
1.If you look at the book that Kehos issued celebrating the rebbe's nesius (I have it at home its called Yeme malchus its a folio sized album with pictures and text ?) there is a note that the Rebbe was shown these films by one of the Groner brothers and the assumtion is that they were in the Rebbe's office (possesion).
Only when Reb Saul Deutsch got hold of the masters from the Kramers did anyone "bother" to issue these wonderful films. After Shimon Deutsch isued them , of course Krinsky & Co. also issued them.As is the case in many things in Lubavitch Inc, some one outside of the misgeres acts and then the company is forced to folow.
So the quality of the films is not of the essence if Deutsch did not issue them chances are they would still be in that big Geniza (who knows what else is there if you get my drift).
As far as the letters they seem to indicate that the nesius was at least somewhat in doubt for a while and that in any case the Rebbe was willing to concede some of the honorifics to his shviger and shvager.
Does anyone have copies of the Dach that Reb Shmaryahu Gourary said that "sad" Shabbes ?
Other letters indicate that the Rashag was not so easy in giving up his quest and that the Israeli Anash were urged to reject his leadership.
Which "sad" Shabbes? And wasn't the Rashag reluctant to give up his quest for a few years?
Schneur, if the films were in Rebbe's posession, why would not he publisize them?
Deitch put out his films before Gimmel Tammuz. The films were discovered in the Rebbe's office after his passing.
JEM's has a color film of the Frierdiker Rebbe's citizenship hearing which, of course, Deitch does not have.

is this the same Geniza that half of it was stolen from its rightful hiers for the whole "uma"
They were not released by the Chabad Co. because of the following : the cast of characters : check out who the main players are the lead female charachter is Reb. Nechama Dina, the leading male support is supplied by the Rashag important roles are played by Reb Chaim Lieberman and even a young Bere Gourary is there.
So who is missing in all the films ??
friend: Reb Shimen Deutsch has many more reels from the Kramer archives dealing with the previous rebbe including scenes of kvittlech , citizenship etc. So please "chap nit".Hopefully they too will be released soon for the enjoymentof Klal Israel.
if Shimon Deutsch HAS more videos, why the wait in publishing? Why didd Krinsky & Co. when he is just as egregious in pirsum!
Pirsomes is the chief "lere" in the Bes medrash on Eastern Pkwy.And they both like it.
But with all its resources Kehoth etc has never published as serious bio. of the rebbe. They have however been able to fund plagarized editions of deutsch's book in several languages.
Are Deutch's newsreels available for private viewing?
