I’m with Berel, a little to late for advice - let them buy the church on union and Brooklyn.

Hey, Der Tehilim Yid, do not count me in your team. I do not send Jews to churches, you sicko.

Hey, Berel, take a chill. I didn’t mean in that way! Better worded, let them look for real estate. Anyway, I doubt the Messianic movement can survive with out 770.

Are you suggesting that Yudel demolish and rebuild 770? To many Lubavitchers, the current structures brings with it many feelings and memories. Many people will not be happy if 770 is totally redone. Besides, 770 will always be a mental assylum, whether it has a yellow tint or not.

i would agree with you that the only chance of renovating 770 (not the walls but the people) is by closing it down for a while. i would be sad though if they made changes in the look of 770’s interior, like Radomsker said.

Maybe they can finally put an end to the following joke.
A chossid from Boro Park walked into 770 and after looking around for a few minutes remarked "the Rebbe is all over the walls and the chassidim are all off the wall!”

I don't propose a complete destruction, although the building went through drastic changes during the Rebbe’s reign. Instead make the current basement a peripheral part of the new building. I can see saving some of that shower grade ceramic tile white brick or the cheesy fake wood siding, Lipsker's Aaaron and perhaps the podium itself.

The balcony in the back where the bleachers once were is something i think they should definitely get rid of. All would agree that it will not be used again.

I have withheld making any further comment because the prognosis is bleak. So while many may wish to attribute spiritual significance to the ruling, I have unearthed zero indication that the psak din of the arkoyos will ever materialize as very much in eilem hazeh. It is my sad prediction that, much like a bad acid trip, things will just have to ride themselves out - until the Jihadists fade away one-by-one in a painfully slow war of attrition.
Of course, there is an alternative scenario but it would entail a grass roots movement on the part of the "normal" chasidim in CH. Then again, grass roots movements are how we got in this whole mess in the first place.
Balls! Who's got 'em?!

Tony they will not fade away, on the contrary they are growing in Israel at an alarming pace. I guess 770 is doomed and its all down hill from here.

Krinsky should move his hq to a modern skyscraper - office building in New York City. Enough with the ghettos of CH. Lets rent some serious office space and get on with the business of fund raising.

There is a general misconception here that is it "Yudel Krinsky" vs. the Meshichits, while is truth Yudel is only the chairman of Merkos (who answers to the board of directors at large) and a simple board member of Aguch (the primary plaintiff in the case).
It is easy for a Meshichist to proclaim "Yudel Krinsky wants us out", but I'd expect more from normal level-headed individuals such as yourselves.

Why degrade yourself to name-calling? (I'm not sure what that word means, but if it's prefaced by "lousy" it can't be good.)
I personally can't stand Krinsky or Shemtov, but I am thrilled by the recent court ruling. My point being that it isn't only these two individuals who are claiming (or should claim) victory.
