Tzemach; Before you tire of Blogger, you may want to consider the reliability of its competitors. I think you will find the most important differentiation between Blogger and its rivals is functionality rather than reliability.

www.blogger.com has been responding correctly over the past 48 hours. OTOH, many other blogging products offer more configurability and more features.

There are problems with two major hosts in USA, including the one I use. These two hosts refuse to accept blogger scripts for some hyper security reason and they try to blame blogger. The web FTP upload is down for the 3rd day.

Blogger has problems from time to time but it's been pretty reliable over the past 4 years for me. Sounds like you problem in the hosting in the middle.
