about rubashkins- Bizzarly, the vast majority of chabadnicks still seem to think that the allegations regarding worker's rights ( or lack thereof) are just another conspiracy to attack the company, kosher food and all Jews in America and takkeh, in the world.
My husband did a stint there as a bochur, as did many others, and he reports being screamed at after asking to be paid on the books. Why pay someone a normal salary and provide healthcare, when you don't have to ? Especially if that someone is just a lowly goy and maybe even an illegal one at that ?

I once worked for a Jewish organization that would use any shtik to avoid legality of paying teachers' legal entitlements. I assue it was worse for illegal aliens. The usual spin was "we Jews have to stick together against the anti-Semitic authorities". This solidarity may have applied in Eastern Europe. But the logic hasn't made sense since 1945. The offenders may are saying "frum means *ritual* alone" and halacha doesn't doesn't apply if its inconvenient. Since then I have also worked for goyish crooks too (once in a while) but they don't insult your intelliegence by trying to pretend they are really altruistic.

Mass produced kosher is not kosher, no matter how many medical benefits you pay to your workers.

TA, please substantiate. That is a major accusation to level against an entire industry. And, no, the burden of proof is not on the other guy to prove it is not the case.

Normal slaughterhouses produce about 40-50,000 chickens a day. Rubaskin does around 70,000. David Elliott produces 6,000. That is as non-mass-produced as you will find today.
And, no, the burden of proof is not on the other guy to prove it is not the case
This is correct, at least from a strictly Halakic point of view. Chulin 9a: נשחטה בחזקת היתר עומדת עד שיודע לך במה נטרפה.

You assert above that "Mass produced kosher is not kosher" and have yet to bring any evidence to prove it. Substantiate that without changing the subject to chickens per minute/hour/nanosecond/etc.
Or are you just throwing rhetorical bombs a-la your cohort Shmarya?
