Roger Waters performed in Israel a few days ago. When he lashed out at Israel calling out that 'Jews are murdering Arabs' the crowd cheered deliriously. They responded the same way when he called on Israel to come forward and make peace with the Arabs. Was it the drugs they were on (or off?) or was it their inability to understand his English?
Even moderates in Israel consider him to be an antisemite. I was quite surprised to hear this from some people.
The sheer idiocy of those Israelis who cheer on anyone who bashes Israel (or Jews) stuns those of us who actually display intelligence and informed opinion.
