People care about you, in one way or another . . . even negative attention and remarks means that you figure some where in their lives . . . How much more so the others . . .
Take a vacation -if you want you can visit Trakai with us here now ;-)
Get away from all the shtick, speak to the people that you get along with . . .
Then begin to focus on the main things -marriage and the future.
Stick in there.

Mottel, this is one more sign! Believe it or not to the right of me there are four framed photos taken on my vacation with my parents in Trakai when I was 10. The photo on top is in a rowing boat. I am rowing and my father sits in front of the boat. Below is a photo of me and my father standing on a tree trunk that fell over a lake. The tree looks like it is about to collapse under our weight into the water…

i have very much enjoyed your blog. sorry your life is going thru such turmoil. when it al clears i hope you will be back to blog some more.
take care and look after yourself b'ruchnius and b'gashmius

They can tell you “kein mol nisht farfalen” but they themselves would not give you a second chance unless you hold a gun to their head. But this is nearly not as horrible as the meanness of the people. One would be hard pressed to encounter so many complete Nazis as in Lubavitch today. Sadistic Nazism that blocs every pore of the soul is the last refuge from the reality.

That's why we all loved your blog. The truth as it is. But not everyone can deal with this unfortunate reality and live in this shit all the time. For some people the stench becomes unbearable. I loved your blog but as a friend through the blog...give it up and never look back. You're comments about yourself really speak highly of you but alas that is the limiting factor of eyes that are blood and flesh a mind that has confusing alleyways.

Chassidim are like any other group. For the most part they are human, selfish, jealous and back stabbers. You obviously don't mix well with that group. Search and never give up in the few that are the diamonds in the ruff. Find a great teacher who can help you discover the diamond within yourself. The answer to everyones problems is within. The answer to a Yid a Chossid as yourself is to be more mekusher with the tree of life.

You have the tools. Shlomo Hamelech said more wisdom more pain. You have the wisdom it's brought the pain of knowledge now go use what Shlomo Hamelech all says ''Soif dovor hakoil nishmo es hoElokim Yeroh ve-es mitzvoisov shemoir ki zeh kol ho-odom". A person who is not well never takes a break from nourishment he must just consider what's best to take when cure and strength are necessary.
Chazak Ve'matz. We all really love you.

Thank you for all of your efforts. The education here was unique in any RCA, day school, mesivta, yeshiva in the entire Chabad or Charedi oilam. Hatzlacha friend.

I think Reb Tzemach that you spent to much time in the non reality of your life online and not your real life and settling down and starting a normal life with a wife and children time goes fast and yhour time is ticking

good luck in your new life

I never understood, Tzemach, why you didn't just walk past into a new future. If Lubavitch didn't fit the bill, move on, keep searching. When I was in 8th grade, I was asked to give a speech and my parents, may they live and be well, sat with me to prepare it. I realize now that they didn't just prepare a speech with me, they prepared me for some of life's ups and downs. I spoke of Rus and how the Megilla notes a few things - one I'll share with you is the winnowing process. After a day of gathering (of living), one must thresh out what happened. Then one lets the chaff go - lets all the negativity blow away in the wind - and one takes out the precious kernel of nourishment. Yes, there was chaff in some of your past experiences. Let it blow away with the wind. Now take the kernels of truth you did glean from the process, put it in a little bundle over your shoulder, to carry you forward, and move on, my friend, move on past it all. I once told you this, but you didn't take me up on the offer - if you can, pack up and go visit Yeshiva Bircas HaTorah in Yerushalayim. The Rosh Yeshiva (he actually will be in Toronto for this Shabbos, then in New York until the 12th of July) has an uncanny ability of giving guidance of how to move forward past the mishigasen (and he and his rebbetzin manage to marry off their charges - so it can't hurt to try the Yerushalayim shidduch scene for a bit). And when all seems mean and hard, remember Dovid HaMelech's life. A guitar, a piano, many instruments work this way - there is a string, that when pulled taut will twang. Each person must make sure that they become a strong string, so that when pulled and plucked by Nisyonos, they twang with Zmiros like Dovid, and don't snap.

When girls dressed in black they all look so lonely
and contraceptives don't get used by the horny
you can't find the key to the door in your building
but are you still willing
the responsibility becomes an afterthought
when one remembers the things that they should've bought
there's no pretending that you forgot
must everything in life have political ramifications
even taking kids on vacation or having a simple operation
but my friend Billy told me that sometimes
it takes a grown man a long time to learn
just what it takes a child a night to learn
and my son proved his words

(Chorus)
Water pistol man full of ammunition
squirtin' at fires on a worldwide mission
but did you ever think to stop to squirt
the flowers in your own backyard

for all my faux pa's I never said excuse me
was the simplest things that always confused me
I never stopped I never looked both ways
must it always be a tug of love between friends and work
hope to learn the meaning of the word jerk
before it happens to a rope round my neck
let's build a bigger telescope
so that we can see things more up close
farther away from where we really are
I was up the whole night before
reading books about places I'll probably never go
and those aren't good things to know about

(Chorus)
Water pistol man full of ammunition
squirtin' at fires on a worldwide mission
but did you ever think to stop to squirt
the flowers in your own backyard

when I feel with my heart, I know in my mind
I should say with my lips
but don't does that make you feel upset?
I should know that the power of one man seems like a small squirt
when he aims at the flames of the whole earth
but the fire starts at home...

(Chorus)
Water pistol man full of ammunition
squirtin' at fires on a worldwide mission
but did you ever think to stop to squirt
the flowers in your own backyard

I logged on again to see what your decision would be, as whatever your decision, it is the right one for you at this moment in time. Anyone who truly cares about your best interests will support you in whatever decision you come to. This is all that matters in your life.

Go and find your peace and much hatzlacha as you move forward in your new life. Take care and be well.

I wish I had something profound to impart at this time, but praise and wishing you the best is all I can do.

I learned a lot from you.

Gravatar If you will remember, Tzemach quit this blog once before on June 26, 2005. http://www.mentalblog.com/ archiv...01_archive.html

Mid-summers always got me depressed too.

Gravatar Why do so few females participate in these forums ?

Gravatar I await the Second Coming - the Torah Chadoshah spoken by the greats like the late Lubavitcher rebbe.

Gravatar TA,
Gonna miss you.

Gravatar Ha ha!
No blogger ever quits.
I'll bet money that you will NEVER stop! Perhaps you will switch screen names.......

See ya later partner!

Gravatar We live in such a small world. I have never been to Trakai, but my daughter has. I have visited Vilna and lived in Warsaw; yet, not a drop of Polish blood flows in my veins.

Had my daughter not chosen to go to a Catholic University (Loyola) two years ago, I would have never driven down Devon, the main street through Chicago's Brisk neighborhood. Nor would I have searched google for references to the Brisk and found your website. Tsemach Atlas, you too love Chaim Grade. So you say "good bye," and I am nearly finished rereading THE YESHEVA. What does this mean? It means either nothing or that there is far more love in the world than any human being can account for.

You, Tsemach, are very much loved. I hope it fills every cell of your body and goes with you where ever you go.

May G-d watch over your every step, and bless all the good you undertake.

To live a love, you gotta be 'part of'." Neil Young

Thank you for teaching me the art of discretion.

Gravatar Trakai.
Lets call it what our fathers called it Trok ,like er hert im in Trok (he is not listening)
Trok was the center of the lituanian Karaites.
The last rabbi was the father of Reb Nachum Parzevitch of Mir , Jerusalm.

Gravatar There still are Kariates there . . . though they've all married into the Lithuanians

Gravatar No, I don’t plan to pull a "classic coke" thing with my blog. I don’t want to blog anymore. My blogging was an art. I have enjoyed playing this fiddle. There are millions of blogs out there but I tried to find a unique voice. This is a painting that I walk away from with pride. The main reason why I am ending this run is because I failed to establish off line connections with real people as a result of my writings. I have found the sea of nicknames lacking. For me this is what really counts.

I might consider turning over this blog to other writers. There are perhaps five people whom I deem eligible for this. They will have to ask me. I am done blogging but I would like to preserve the visual consistency of this blog. This is very important for me.

I have started two advertising networks on Blogads. I have no plans to relinquish the networks. I would like to see them grow becasue the management of the alternative Jewish network on Blogads is unacceptable.

Gravatar P.S. I would like to add that I have an online business idea. If you know of any investors that might be willing to put up initial venture capital to develop this idea, let me know. I am convinced that the return could be fabulous (possibly unbelievable viral growth) but it needs approximately six months to be carefully crafted.

Gravatar Rabbi Baruch Jacobson, I am sure people in CH can spend their free time reading fascinating discussions on Shaims, CH.info and the reset of the cutting edge journalism. I am a bit of idealist and believe it or not I tried very hard to find some redeeming value in the remnants of the movement. I leave without finding any.

Gravatar What sort of online business idea? How much capital will you need to start up?

Gravatar I think it's fair to say that Boruch Jacobson got a raw deal when selecting from his parents' gene pool. He must've misunderstood the choices.

Gravatar Tzemach is lloking for something that might not excist. Chabad is the place all others are copiers.

We have our problems but so does everyone.

The Rebbe will return and lead us out of Gulos Tzemach if you dont believe that then your looking for something that doesnt excist.

Gravatar TA, you are a pathetic little man, trapped in a pathetic little world. No one wants to hear your whining about what is wrong with the shtetl that is Lubavitch - we all know what its problems are, thats why its a shtetl.

You, and everyone else such as that pathetically confused Army lubavitcher that you profiled a while back, need to just walk away - not from blogging but from the Shtetl if you ever want to be happy. But of course, you cant and neither can he and everyone else that wants to sit on the fence and enjoy the warmth and security that belonging to a tribe brings you.

This isnt new ground, but this is EXACTLY why Abraham and his merry band of followers and descendants created this religion - to provide a sense of being that would keep their progeny in the fold. Add on some rules on marriage, food, clothing, holidays etc and you have your little gate, your little shtetl.

If you had an ounce of integrity you would pick a side and live with it. Ripping on a dead religious leader is pathetic and sad. You had your chances when he was alive and pulling the same stunts. But now the big man is gone so you pick on him and his followers are just enjoying the spoils. Do you blame them? They are just as human as you are and desirous of the same nice things. With no leader to shower glory on them and their families for their sacrifice, they are getting their own glory as they see fit. Deal with it.

Gravatar Don't bring Abraham into your mess, you and your shtetle is as far from Abraham as humanly possible. He was an "evry" that came from the other side of the river, he was a heroic risk taker, a person who challenged gods and people. You are a band of conformists that have a particular penchant for the totalitarian Nazism.
P.S. I don't pick on the Rebbe, I pick on fascist like yourself who think that you have him figured out in your pity little minds.
P.S.S "No one wants to hear your whining about what is wrong with the shtetl that is Lubavitch"
tell that to thousands of readers...

Gravatar Who was that idiot, ignore him he just jealos.

sarah

Gravatar whatever your future, may you find peace.
g-d bless you.

Gravatar Rabbi T Atlas RIP but I see your life if still busy with this crap cant stop looking at the screen

Log off and goodbye RIP and get into Olem Hazeh and find a girl and get maried and have a family and make a living and be a man then return and we will then love you and you will appreciate what Chabad has to offer

Gravatar Ha! What am I jealous of? A depressed middle aged man who wishes he wasnt Jewish, or at least orthodox, or at least Lubavitch?

TA, you cant have it both ways: you cant laud Abraham the risk taker when in essence he was sentencing his followers and descendants (read: YOU) to a life of conformity to his god and his religion.

And please, dont tell you didnt pick on the rebbe, just on the fascists like me. This site is chalk full with rants on the how the rebbe treated his nephew, his brother in law etc etc. - never mind your attacks on his methods which are hidden as attacks on his followers and shluchim.

How do you expect non-conformists in a relgion, whos orthodox strain is completely based on regimen and rules - tens and hundreds of thousands of pages of them. This isnt a hippie, free for all religion - and you know that! The god of the hebrews is a zealous god, a vengeful god. If you want something else, change religions.

And to start labeling people fascists because they dont agree with you and because they are out for theirs and will walk over you to get it makes me nothing more than a child who has replaced 'meanie' with bigger words like 'fascists'

Gravatar Abraham was not "sentencing his followers and descendants to a life of conformity to his god and his religion." The buffoons like you who claim to speak in his name did. By fascism I mean a totalitarian mind set that you so perfectly illustrate, the choice of words is deliberate.
You also illustrate that behind Chabad outreach is a unwelcoming machine hostile to freedom, hostile to human expression, hostile to creativity and hostile to kindness. Don’t forget to bring it up at a Chabad house near you. Tell them the truth.

Gravatar Ha! The blog continues! (in the comment section, that is :-))

Gravatar What has happened to "Ahavas Yisroel?"

You should review the name calling and whatever else is posted on here! Be kinder and gentler with one another.

Remember, fellas, it's almost Shabbos!

Gravatar Hey Tzemach, this guy Bobby Valentine my guess is that he is a Christian missionary..atheist . Don't even engage in his dribble. Dah Mah lehoshiv. I smell a big rat in his language.

To the guy who signs Rabbi Boruch Jacobson. What kind of excuse is it, that "everyone has problems and so does Lubavitch". Are you therefore saying #A, it's Ok (we should be quiet and accept) the unacceptable behavior? Or #B, do you loudly agree, what's being done many of the things Tzemach mentioned, is totally unacceptable, unjust and very clearly not what is expected of Chassidim.

If it's #A Then you and all those who think like you really have the problem Tzemach is accusing you of, and if it's #B Let's hear you say so, Validate sympathize with another Yid a Chossid who is being treated badly and maybe if you and others address these problems Moshiach will come and Tzemach another great Neshomo, will be so much more happier.

Chassidus has high standards and Chassidim should live up to it. Many do and perhaps many more don't. I think the problem Tzemach has is with the many who don't live up to the high standards and the supposedly leaders of the corporation and their oligarchs who (don't know) pretend nothing wrong is happening and go on with "their" show while on the way trampling and being totally oblivious of the ones they run over.

As the Rebbe said many times. If you have the benkel live up to it, if you can't, zei azoi gut and get off. Don't pretend this is the way it should be, because everyone else ALSO has problems. We are Chassidim and Chassidus expects more.

Gravatar Again, not a christian missionary or an atheist. See how quick YOU all are to condemn someone who disagrees with you? Tzemach, wouldnt that be a bit totalitarian, too?

My point in all this was: Judaism is not necc. a real warm and fuzzy religion. Definately not in the bible and not much thereafter. This a demanding religion for a demanding God. Chassidism was an attempt to infuse a bit of a emotion to a very regimented and strict relgion.

I am sorry that you feel trapped in a group that isnt very warm and fuzzy, at least not beneath the surface. The Rebbe was a CEO who had to set a system in place to achieve his desired goals of a strong and healthy enterprise that could function with little assistance from HQ. And his shluchim have succeeded to a large degree in doing so. Does this take a bit of the warmth that a small shtiebel and shtetl may have? Yes. But no organization can be successful if rules are lax, tolerance is high and the troops rule the roost. This is true for the military or any large corporation.

So, again. If you want warmth and fuzzy feelings, join Carlebach or Breslav (who may be the closest to a free for all environment) or do your own thing. There are many people who dont like working for 'the man' and go out on their own. Do the same. But to expect something different from orthodoxy, especially a large and structured sub-sect is just a waste.

Gravatar Chabad fascism for all to see! The "Rebbe was a CEO." CEO has corporate responsibilities to shareholders. He is a subject to dismissal if he doesn’t perform. His appointed managers are controlled by shareholders and not given lifetime appointments. Do not bring CEO into this.

Gravatar The Rebbe was the Best CEO his memories will live with ALL WHO ACYUALLY KNEW HIM till the day of death.

He was the closest thing to Godliness you will ever see.

If you want fun go to Bobuv and fart away at there Purim Shpiels while the rebbe falls asleep or each Chulent by the Moonkackter or go to Breslov and have no torah or chasidus..

Remeber those whoknew the rebbe will always remeber him.

And TA rememeber you have a good heart and writing against the Rebbe personaly which you did on many occasions is very serious and dangerous. I would truly as a friend ask Mechila.

To attack a person who is not alive is scary. When you walk by his Grave remeber the thngs you did.

It is neve to late to do Teshuva SHliama.

BJ

Gravatar wow. um, what if its a privately held company? What if the CEO is the only shareholder? What if the CEO appoints those sympathetic to him to sit on his board?

Again, you want it both ways. This is a privately held company. If you dont like the way it operates, leaves. If you decided to become a Bobover chassid tomorrow, does that give you the right to demand it become more open, more flexible? What planet are you from? Start your own branch of Judaism...Why in the world do you think this privately held company should cater to you, and you and you. This isnt a free for all.

Religion is extreme. Its regimented. Its by nature all rules and regs. Get used to it or leave it. You cant have it both ways.

The problem is, you know this, yet you cant bring yourself to accept it or walk away. So you blog and whine about the injustice of it all and nominate new lubavitcher rebbes who work for you until you find out they say yechi.

Gravatar Happy 13/13 Tammuz.

An excerpt from the prison diary:

"The Jews of the U.S.S.R. perceive you as a prominent religious authority and you rule over them."

The Rebbe replied patiently: "I will not deny that Jews think of me as an authority, but I am not guilty of any crime. I do not compel or assert my authority over anyone. I have never used my authority in any way against the Soviet Union.

"The charge that I rule over Jews is wholly incorrect. Coercion and force are wholly alien to the ways of Chassidus. Leadership, from a Chassidic viewpoint, means striving to achieve moral refinement and spiritual perfection, so that others may learn to emulate and proceed in these same paths.

"This cannot be achieved by force or power - only by means of a free will. Chassidim, of their free volition, emulate their Rebbe and leader.

"It is my responsibility to concern myself with enabling anyone who so desires to remain faithful to Judaism. All this occurs by free choice and under circumstances of absolute freedom. What crime is there in this?"

Gravatar "Privately held company" doesn't issue press releases that state "To ALL JEWS EVRYWHERE". "Privately held company" is financed by private funds not by funds raised from a broad spectrum on investors who invest for the future of Jewish people not for the financial well being of the “CEO who appoints those sympathetic to him to sit on his board”.

Gravatar Since when does the subject of a press release dictate the nature of the company?? The investors know exactly what they are investing in, and to be honest, most are happy. Your attending a shul or sending your kids to a school makes you a *customer* not a shareholder and as a customer your choice to be one is yours.

Again, you need to come to grips that this is, for all intents and purposes, Lubavitch Inc. whos business is in spreading its brand of judaism to other jews. Shareholders know what theyre investing in when they give to a chabad house or to merkos and to a large degree they have a say in how the funds are used and if they dont like how they are used, they can choose to not invest again just like any bad investment. You are just upset that you have no real standing in changing the rules, be it for Lubavitch or Judaism in general.

Gravatar BV
also fun der druyers einiklach?
it sure as heck sounds like it

Gravatar the shame of my shtetle!

Gravatar "Shareholders know what there are investing" as an example do you mean to say that people who donate to the Cunin's TV gig understand the implications of their investment? NO, it is a house built on lies.

Are you saying that corporate Lubavitch, Inc has the standing to change the rules for Lubavitch and Judaism? This would be the implication of your corporate logic. And surely there are at least 50% of card holding Lubavitchers, not the fence seaters like me, who think that you and your corporation is a wet dream of the middle managers.

Gravatar "A house built on lies" is a strong statement.

Gravatar And do you think when you invest in any public co., let alone a private one, you know where every penny is going? The net result in California is that people think its going to support "chabad" there. If they didnt like the job being done they wouldnt invest. If they didnt like the rabbi/shliach, they wouldnt attend.

If you dont like how the rebbe set up shop, or how is agents are enforcing his directives, than pick a different leader to follow. Same thing goes with the whole religion. Its not an easy religion and to be honest, isnt very warm and fuzzy. Shame, but thats the way it is.

And FYI - I take significant exception to the shluchim. This is the closest thing Ive seen to the chet ha'egel. But, I have chosen to distance myself from the proceedings, I am not opting in. But these are the people the rebbe chose and this is the system he chose. Not for me to challenge.

I found myself a nice sephardi shul where they sing nice songs and read the torah nicely. good enough for me.

Gravatar Aveederzen.....

Gravatar Where is Ken Lay today?

This is demagoguery that corporations have no investment accountability. If Kotliarsky is such a CEO let him come here to Boston not to eat chicken and take pictures but to interview Jews who live here if they are satisfied with the performance of his corporate officers. Let him ask the users if the like schools, Shules and self appointed Chiefs.

Gravatar You are missing my whole friggin point. If people (the customers) voted with their feet, then the company would have to listen. You walking away, or getting others to, that would be a noble cause. Then, maybe then, management would instruct their employees to change.

But this whining and bemoaning, what good will come from it? Nada. So if you had courage and a plan, you could try to get the thousands who come to this site to vote with their feet.

You have NO idea who I am and what Ive been through. Trust me, I am more in your corner than you are - I am younger than you, much, and am going to have to endure watching this particular shtetl rot to its core fundementally and philosophically and then become nothing more than a relic.

The point is this: Lowes created a viable alternative to Home Depot by making it warmer and friendlier and catering more to women. They are growing far faster and with a far better performing stock. People are VOTING WITH THEIR FEET. You should choose to shop at Lowes and try to take your merry band of eFollowers with you. Then, maybe, will the company listen.

Gravatar BV, you chane your tune more often than Tony Montana. I can't take you seriously.

Gravatar I didnt change my tune once. My position is consistent: This is a private co. run by a now deceased CEO. His employees are enforcing his directives as they see fit. This is sync with a long line of jewish leaders enforcing Gods will as they saw fit. If you dont like it, leave. If that gets the managements attention, then maybe they change. Chances are they wont if its just you. And its their loss, youre a good soul.

But crying and moaning by yourself wont get you anywhere. You have the audience, do something with it instead of just ripping. Create a plan and execute.

Gravatar Tzemach,
Hang tough.

Ben

Gravatar Thank you, Ben.

Gravatar BV, you are Tony and I don't care anymore. This is your problem not mine. Do your own blog.

Gravatar Well, Tzemach - it was an honor being in the same blogosphere as you - now we are both going and gone.
You did a great and honorable job.
I hope you return at some point.

Still, the Out of Step Jew

Gravatar When you tell Bobby Valentine that he is Tony, do you mean that he is just like Tony or that you think we are one and the same person with two different names?

I can assure you that I am not Bobby Valentine. I do not daven in a sephardic shul. I also don't know what he means by equating shluchim with the chet ho'egel.

Gravatar Jacobson, do you know why you have absolutely NO impact on TA? Because you see him only as a kiruv project and not as a human being. If he decides to amputate himself from the Rebbe and Lubavitch, well that's all what free choice is about. If I was in his shoes, I'd take them off and crawl to the Ohel and ask mechileh. But again, it's his and only his choice or as they say:everybody messes his life up as bad as possible.RIP

Gravatar I am done with the subject of Lubavitch. I am not interested in the Rebbe or the future of CH or Shlichus. I don't care. I am off to other themes and I don't need your advises any longer. I do not care about your world! There is only so much one can do to try to be a member of a lousy team that doesn't even want's him. I might be stupid but I am no crazy. I don’t care what the Rebbe thinks of me. I am not going to his Ohel and I find this entire subject boring.

Gravatar This is really the end for me. I no longer wish to be a member of this club. Nor am I wanted by the members. So be it, because let's face it, the club stinks. This is the real end if you ask me. No people please do not annoy me anymore. Leave my house, let me be by myself. I have tried to be a Jew as hard as could, now I leave. I want a rest. I don’t care about your education, your yeshivas, corporate structure of Shlichus, Rebbe’s legacy. I do not care. If I am able I will salvage what’s left of my life, if not I am prepared to fail, I play this game of life honestly.

Lubavitch,Chabad Chasidus,it all fits.

Oros d'tohu b'kailim d'tikun,nosay hafachim,ratzo v'shuv it was all here!

You are who Chasidus was revealed for. You are truely fortunate.

It has been a great six months for me.
Good luck on your journey.

Gravatar "say good night to the bad guy"
-Tony. M.

Gravatar So in the end you agreed with me. Nice to know.

Gravatar BV, no i did not agree with you, moron.

Gravatar If you had a normal life and children then this would all be fun but your getting very old and gray and need to start a family and have anormal life

Gravatar So how was Scarface on AMC? Did you have fun?

Now go see Little Murders so we can talk about it. I think it's a splendid idea to stop blogging about Jewish topics. I can find a chat in the mikveh for that. Let's just talk about stuff that is interesting and cool. Go see the movie.

PS - When will you explain to me what it means to "dance"? And don't say, "If I have to explain, you'd never understand." Even truisms are well served by a little articulation.

Gravatar Moron, huh? You really are bitter. But you did very clearly agree with me. You are distancing yourself from the shtetl because a) you dont like it there and b)you cant change it.

Just stop whining about it and make yourself new and whole.

Gravatar BV, forgot c) they don't like me.
d) i was never in the Shtetl

Gravatar Who is the "they"...this isnt a monolithic entity. The rebbe never spent an hour with you shooting the breeze? His emmissary didnt honor you at a dinner? Your expectation were too high here. Society, and individual socities, are beasts that consume.

Yes, a small circle can be close. Im sure things were very intimate in the 50s in 770. But times change. People change. Both often for the worse. This is life.

You need to find a place where you feel comfortable with whats taking place without taking it so seriously. I like the sephardic tunes, good enough for me. So the Rabbis is a loser and the shul isnt very nice. I go there for the tunes and the spirit.

Anyone that can convince you that any large group, hassidic or otherwise is going to be warm and inviting in its entirety is a liar. But you shouldve known this.

Gravatar I still think that you a moron BV, not interested in talking further. You are a complete idiot.

Gravatar You cant rationally respond so you lower yourself to personal insults. Impressive.

Gravatar Baruch and Yoshe,
The only one who needs to ask mechillah the Rebbe MH"M SHLIT"A for the destruction he caused in CHABAD b'prat and yiddishkeit b'klal. YECHI!

Gravatar You people don't see???

TA's burned out. At least thats what i get from his posts, He's been fighting, and casring too much. It's over, he's not intrested in petty arguments, or powere struggles.

He's not intrested in being converted, brainwashed or showen the light.

And man if he has to turn to us for support, it means he's support base is not intrested in him.

-------------------------------------

I don't know what turned you off TA, I don't know why the wonders and fire of chassidus are just darkened embers in youre heart, but i do know one thing.

Even though you'll probably never know who i really am, i went through a really F'en hard life, and whatever you do.....I back you.

I don't judge you, and anyone who does can never understand.

A Hand reaching to the depths.

Gravatar sycophant: A servile self-seeker who attempts to win favor by flattering influential people.

Big word with almost no meaning in the context of this blog, but hey, this blog is history. No?

Gravatar I don't care about Chabad. This era of my life is finished. I don't care what morons say about me. Let Lubavitch burn. I do not care. It is all lies.

cheers!

Gravatar i don't get the nimshal

Gravatar TA is not dense! Strike the thought!

Here smart guy! You try to figure out the nimshal!

Some citizen, not that so that the too drunk, but perhaps in the
intoxicated form, - it in the apartment in itself would establish organ. Instru'ment began to roar. Crowd of tenants in the offence. After upravdomom it dispatches - that anger it is seized, - I the immediately caused by it yard-keeper Sebastian bakh! bang! - machine it rumpled, it gave to swindler into the teeth. Not in that misfortune, what Sebastian - grub'yan, A is bad that that bang some rough...
