I neglected to mention that Yaffa and Moshe are volunteers with Lev U' Neshama and along with another friend of ours who is a MSW Fellow, plus a rabbi, they somehow manage to provide food boxes to feed about 100+ families each month. $36 feeds a family of four for about a week. My husband and I visited Tsfat last August/September and saw firsthand the good deeds they do for others. Every shekel goes to those who need it and not some charitable entity with high overhead. I wonder what will become of those families now that bombs, rather than manna are falling on their heads.
