"Tzivos Hashem" is not exactly "Hizb'ullah" but it's close. However, the first one is a harmless children's organization and the second one is a murderous criminal gang.
Dear Tzemach, I fear you are becoming caught up in metaphorical thinking.
Just because they both have stupid yellow flags does not mean that these two phenomena are truly similar.
Metaphorical non-thinking is the bane of the age, and none of us is entirely immune.
May Heaven protect us from metaphorical non-thinking, and more importantly, from the real enemies who seek our destruction.

That's really mean spirited. I think the color of the flags and the passion are the ONLY things they have in common.

Gandalin and CHchick; I agree with most of your comments .. except you overlook one point.
Waving a yellow flag means that "am chacham venavon" have abandoned sechel. It doesn't matter whether the yellow flag waver is motivated by hiskashrus or despair. Exchanging Torah learning to become tragic clowns with yellow flags is stupid move that is not likely to contribute to Jewish survival.

It has not been difficult for Tzemach Atlas to show how many in the Lubavitcher movement have abandoned sechel without resorting to yellow-flag-relativism.

Of course there is also the distinction that our nutcases don't shoot people and blow stuff up as a matter of general principle. Any omission of this difference is slanderous in the extreme.

Thank you, "A Yid," for reminding me that the yellow lubavitcher flag is not the flag of Tzivos Hashem. I'm sorry that I did not make myself clear. I did not mean to imply that the yellow flag was the flag of Tzivos Hashem. My comment about the similarity between the names "Hizb'ullah" and "Tzivos Hashem" was meant to illustrate another superficial similarity -- such as the use of yellow flags -- that might make it possible for a person afflicted with the post-modernist disease of metaphorical "thinking" to conflate two very different movements. Metaphorical imagery is very important to the post-modernist, cultural-relativist leftists who are trying to destroy Medinas Yisroel, Am Yisroel, and the United States. An example of the way they twist the imagery is to imply that the image of the Nazi with tank in Warsaw ghetto versus the heroic Jews with Molotoff coktails equates to the image of the Israelis with tank versus Palistanian with Molotoff cocktail. And the post-modernist deduces that he should support the Palistanian terrorist -- whose underlying aims are actually the same as those of the Nazi in the tank.
So yes, "Camp Runamok," the real distinctions are essential.

Those bachrim drove through the north, with katyusha's landing, literally to a war front, to bring some simcha and maybe a mitzvah (assuming they're also doing tefillin) to soldiers literally on the line.
They put their lives on the line for the defense of Jews, and the support of those doing so.
Baruch Hashem. What are you doing?

"They put their lives on the line for the defense of Jews" - this was meant to the soldiers...
and the support of those doing so. - this was meant to the bachrim.
BTW, Chabadnikim have the highest level of army service among the charedi in Israel, with the exception of Gur chassidim (who have their own private army unit).
