I was a t an farbrengun recently or so it was called ,with about 7or 8 other reasonable men . The shliach is a wonderful soft spoken man , but the guest speakers from CH shouted and spoke in an articially loud way.Why shout or talk loud with an audience of 8 people sitiing in a living room ??

I can relate to what you're saying TA and I think it comes down to education. Gezha's by and large come from a russian peasant background (or they put on the peasant shtick) whereas many BT's are college educated. It is certainly harder for a Gezha chick to venture out of her comfort zone, all her family and everything she knows is chabad et al. A BT chick who decides to further her education will be accepted by an extended family if not her parents.

From a female perspective, I find Russian BT's males to be most unappealing. They brood, brag, and booze too much. They don't groom, earn, or humour me enough. They bore me with their paranoia, they're possesiveness and petty jealousies, and their precious egos. They're quarrelsome mysoginistic pseudo-intellectuls with bad breath and rotting teeth. Russian BT males, they measure their religiosity by the amount of vodka they drink. Who would want to go out with, let alone marry one?
