The idea of splashing paint is a strong one for this product. However, the cinematographic execution and film direction leave a lot to be desired (I am not talking about the special effects of the paint-pyrotechnics). For example, the panoramic shots of paint fountains with the backdrop of redbrick tenements are very weak (and this takes up a large portion of the spot). The more forceful close-up shots inside the grungy graffiti-covered monotone stairways work much better. And what’s up with the clown?
I did not hate this spot as much as the other one, but neither did I love it.

TA, you keep gravitating to the spots that take the most engineering effort to create. Why is that? The 'chorus' commercial has zero engineering, but it's a masterpiece, real Art! The 'cars and their owners' commercial doesn't even have motion, just a bunch of still pictures, but it's absolutely amazing!

did you see this?
