I just want to mention that the cellphone companies in Israel give excellent service.
reminds me of the torah that people who come to us for tzedaka are doing us a huge favor.. of course i've never seen it that way.
also, i don't mind the attitudes here in israel, if you make someone laugh they treat you like a brother. it's only when you treat them like a person behind a counter that they treat you like an undeserving whelp.

Well, they have.
And the "new man" is a much worse man than the old one. In socialist societies, where the state substitutes for every human community and every human relationship, and where the state becomes the sole nexus of human to human interactions, all of the fraternal and charitable dispositions upon which emotional base so much of the socialist movement bases its appeal, all disappear.
Slowly, generation after generation, millenia of human experience are effaced. Soon, nobody will even understand what the words even meant.
