G-d fearing Jews dont kill themselves, certainly not with tfilin and dont say kaddish for themselves. Suicide in Israeli jail is rare, since making time usually is not very terrible, there is no sexual aggression, the food is good, there are study circles and even amateur theater. It is not a North Korean Ideological Re-education Farm. It makes no sense he commit suicide.
