On the other hand, there might have been such a demonstration when this tomb was first uncovered almost 30 years ago.

And if I may intrude a political comment, it is a shame that the Discovery Channel and the press choose the Christians' holy season of Lent in order to attack their beliefs. The New York Times often does this to the Jews, specializing in articles ridiculing Jewish thought & practice just befrore the Yamim Noraim. This is part and parcel of the Gramscian program of the leftist glitterati to undermine and overthrow Western civilization and society, so as to replace it with the all-powerful nanny state.

Of course, I admit, they'd never dare publish the slightest whisper critiquing the hagiography of the Prophet Muhummad "pbuh" would they? No, there are some sacred cows that are still sacred, even to the iconoclasts.
