Tzemach, an interesting post, especially the lost love Meshichisten! lol.
I would say that Yichud is actually loveless, it transcends love and awe/fear which are only prerequisites for actual service of the Almighty. The prerogative of Kaballah dictates that the love must transform to become transcendental, Ahavah Kamayim, not die or become unfulfilled.
I am not sure how redemptive promise breaks hope. I am sure you will explain further.

yerushalayim,complete fear, is associated with malchus, kingship,
in messianic times, however, since the malchus with which we will be connecting will be malchus en sof, infinite kingship -the highest level of revealation- that fear will be turned into love.
in other words according to chassidus, complete fear will be love.
i am confused about this...
