So the legend goes that Mashiach surely will come of all Jews keep two Sabbaths in a row. Perhaps what really counts is that Jews be together in a collective action. Since most of Jews today are not observant this is a remote possibility. But what if we all do something together anyway. You know when a car is stuck on ice or in a mud you move forward by rocking it backwards and forwards. So if we can’t go forwards why not trying backwards. Say we all Jews decide collectively to eat Chometz for a two days on Pesach and the Rabbonim pasken that we should eat pizza on shlishi and revii of Pesach. I think we should try this; perhaps this will shake G-d out of his sleep. |
