AS a group, the Hungarian and polishe Chassidim are more 'into' the Holocaust than say, lubavitch or Bresov. If you were to leaf through the Yiddish or Hebrew language publications, they often feature an article on the Holocaust, albleit their own angle. Just my impression.

dont know the details but the belzer and his brother (the current belzers father) were saved by the skin of their teeth after their wives and children were murdered because some people busted their chops to make it happen.
