Why would you say that? Leasing space in Manhattan must be reasonably easy, even if the NYT itself continues to decline and need less space. He isn't doing this with Boymelgreen, so he should be able to operate as a mentch. I'm curious.

guravitzer, he has done similar deals before, i.e. Varna Bulgaria, but nobody ever heard of them. This is the deal that puts you very much on the map PR wise. When this happens the dynamics of your business changes dramatically. You got more friends and many more enemies. There is also the issue of the uncertain NYT future and if the deal was made because of the name on the building that carries the extra risk.
