hirshel frightens me and his youthful appearance depresses me. he doesn't change and seems to not grow old at all. last time i saw him was probably eight or nine years ago. but he stays the same!

he got few more strings of gray since I saw him last. But indeed his frozen appearance could be only explained as a reflection of his inner freeze.

Aging of tzadikim is probably different from humans (us commentators including).
"Emotions" regarded by TA come from exaggerated self, and naturally not present in tzadik.
