i would rather keep drinking than recover like that. i got a weird feeling that all comments on that blog are written by the same person, questions and answers. does this happen to the recovering alcoholics, and they all start talking like their mentors? but then what do i know, being inebriated as i am.

What I mean is that after knowing you through your comments on this blog, it doesn't surprise me that the same person who has shown himself to be an arrogant, cold, self-justifying, old stick-in-the-mud in all matters pertaining to chasidus would also make shamefully boorish and clueless comments about recovery from addiction.
