As I recently wrote elsewhere a fair chunk of volume 3 was published in the final years of Soviet rule by the Moscow based SOVETISH HEIMLAND.
I too was addicted to Der Nister so I found them and read this piece , if I recall it was just a bit diappointing.

i purchased a used copy withdrawn from the Palm Beach County library. the book is stamped in red: "DISCARDED: OUTDATED, REDUNDANT MATERIAL"
