Bravo! I have long thought that the Bush administration rules with fear. I love Al Gore's speech to the American Constitution Society, in which he discusses that very issue.

Didn't we, as a nation, agree after 9/11 that we would NOT let the terrorists win? That being afraid to live our lives in a normal fashion would simply give them what they wanted?

And yet we have this President, his administration, and the Republican candidates pushing fear and terror on a daily basis. When did they start acting like terrorists themselves?

Unfortunately, fear makes a great weapon, at least for some of us. I don't remember who said it, or the exact quote - but it was something to the effect that those who attempt to lead using ignorance and fear as weapons lead only the ignorant and fearful.

I cannot wait until the day that this administration is out of office. It can't come soon enough for me.
