I actually sat and watched an ANTM marathon on MTV from beginning to end last weekend. It was the one with Danielle from LR and Jade with her Jade-ism's...sue me! lol
I'm the main one who's always getting on folks about tips, because I overheard some YT folks I went to school with talmbout how they thought blacks don't tip well, so I've been sensitive about that like a mofo.
However, I whip out my cell phone and look up "Tip Calculator", and round it off to the nearest dollar. I used to do it to the very dollar and cents, but I figured I can't be that anal retentive...

Good Morning Kris... i have a busy day ahead of me.... how was the weekend for ya?
It went well.. didnt do nothing yesterday.. My BF and I went bar hoping on Friday and I had a night out with the girls on Sat....
.. I feel u on that busy day, my boss is back today and someone from London is here also and I have tons of things to complete.... this whole week is probably gonna be hectic.... Im counting down the hours till i can go home!
How was ur weekend?
It was good... didn't get much work done on teh house, but did a lot of housework... went for a run on Saturday (the first time in MONTHS, and my ass and legs are burnin lol). Watched a couple of movies at home, and yesterday we spent a lot of time with my family... we watched Rev. Wright, and discussed. We have a really good thing going... a sort of "inner circle" where we talk about our challenges, our goals, and things we are all working on. We pray together, and we meet up on the next sunday or so, and discuss the results. I'm so blessed by my fam, I know it's sthg to cherish. But anyhow, we didn't get home til late last night, and now we're suffering for it.
lol my boss is back in town today too (from another golf trip)... but he'll be gone again on wednesday (woo hoo!).

I did and I liked him. I don't get what he has to do with Obama running for President. The thing I respected most is he did not mention Obama, which people expected him to. And I thought the part about the differences in white and black music was hilarious!!

Nothing...that's the point! I LOVED the theme and I called an emergency meeting at work this morning to get all of the white folks to chant this with me... all together now:

In normal circumstances, it wouldn't make a difference but in this situation to the media/his opponents/a lot of the public, it's all about being guilty by association. However, I find it funny that the fact of Rev. Wright being one of Bill's spiritual advisors during the Lewinsky scandal seems to always go unmentioned.

The sad thing is... a lot of what he said went SO FAR ABOVE so many of the naysayers' heads! They didn't understand HALF of the points he was making, and so they'll continue to do what they do.

I have never been more proud of a leader than I was after watching his speech. I don't really get moved by present day speakers/leaders... but he really made me stand up in the living room and wave my hand at the screen and holla "GONE HEAD REB!" 
Today, now that the emotions are simmering down... I get that terrible gut feeling as I realize that still, there are so many who just don't and just WON'T "get it."

I find myself sitting and wondering if people can really be this naive and stupid. The answer is yes and it's all about interpretation and how people choose to interpret information that is given to them (ie, not wanting to go outside of that little box that they have created for themselves and truly open their eyes to see what really goes on in this nation on a daily basis).
I am sooo drained from this election. Hillary knows damn well that she would not like for us to be snooping in her past and her current affiliations...that bitch has the devil on speed dial.

Sayrah you are so right. But lets not sleep on the intelligence of Obama. He has signed up more registered voters than Hillary. And a slew of them are African American Voters...not just college, or white voters. If she persists in throwing dirt...she will lose a lot of voters...thae black vote more specifically.

We have a congressional seat that is open right now, and the repubs are running this insanely aggravating ads trying to link the democratic runner w/Obama-Pelosi & Clinton-Pelosi.... The ads are NOWHERE near as slanderous as the ones in S.Carolina (or is it North), but they are still quite obviously far reaching.
The sad thing is, I'm pretty sure it's working. Is this happening anywhere else?
