hell if i know...every man is different, and i couldn't begin to tell you there is a secret to making a man 'do right'...men and women do wrong...i think the main thing is talking through issues before they become big problems and have the willingness to change for the betterment of the relatinoship.....most people are steadfast in their own personalities, which makes for a hard stance whenever there point of view on life/relationships/child rearing/etc is challenged...if you and your sig other have an open mind to discuss other possibilities, accept alternatives, and implement another strategy that's best for the family (not necessarily for you) then you have a better than average chance of making it....that's just my opinion though

I talked to her for a breif second last eve.. told her I wasnt trying to come down on her just saying what I thought was the right thing and if i sugar coated it and didnt then i wouldnt be a friend.. but I also understand why she was being so naive about the situation especially since she was still in shock... Just met w/the bossman. He says I'm right on target and have made tremendous progress in one year. He supports me going to law school (PTL!) and is cool as long as I keep him informed and keep performing.
