Yeah I've been moving around on the scale a lot too since hosting stuff like the Carnival of Personal Finance gets you some great links (Instapundit) that get cycled off the page after a while.

Tell me about it. I've been as high as Large Mammal, though I was getting used to Marauding Marsupial. Now I'm a lowly Slithering Reptile. Yikes! His site says changes are in place but wow!

I console myself in the fact that the ranking system is based on links (where I'm currently ranked 382 but I place much higher (587) and growing on the (more important to me) measure of traffic.
