Nice coffee maker. I'm not ready to part with that kind of coin, but at least I buy good beans. I figure it's worth the few pennies more per cup.

I really like is a good cup of coffee also -- problem is, most people dont know how to brew a good pot.

The best thing about coffee makers that have a thermal carafe is that you can make extra coffee for later on in the day and it won't taste burnt.

I drink about 4 cups a day (it's half regular and half decaff), so we always make extra in the morning and put it in a thermos for later.

We broke down this Christmas and bought a thermal coffee brewer to replace the cheapie brand with the burner. I can't taste the difference yet, but my wife likes the fact that it doesn't drip when she pours nearly as much as the old one.
