My experience is that smart kids tend to do fairly well in the martial arts. He should have a good time with it, especially when he makes friends with some of the other kids enrolled there. Sounds like a very big school (the avg. has about 50-150 students), hopefully there are enough instructors to go around to keep everyone in line. Good luck!
