An unexpected benefit of swine flu is that it has greatly reduced grandparent mortality rates. However, the CDC might want to investigate H1N1 outbreaks around midterms and project due dates.
Its dangerous to be a parent near finals ... our mortality rate spikes.

I've had a policy for a few years now, stated on the syllabus, that midterms missed will simply have the weight on the final. I used to have 4 or 5 students out of 50 or 60 miss a midterm. Now, it's more like one or two.
Oh well. Sorry you didn't care for it. I use the blog to keep track of
things I find amusing, funny, or somehow related to whatever I've been thinking about. Were someone to view everything on here the same as I do, I'd definitely recommend they seek professional help.
