Hi Scout - "Go-To Person" is what the Conservatives are calling this new appointment they've made in skeena-bulkley. Meaning that's the person you "go to" instead of your MP... basically to usurp the MP's job.

We're just wondering if there's more than one.

Vancouver Island North is a reall toss-up. Duncan (C) defeated Bell (NDP) by less than 500 votes in 2004, Bell wins over Duncan by about 630 votes in 2006.

Look for $$ flowing into Port McNeill and Alert Bay. Why do I fcous in on those two? Well, because it's already started...

Another thing I noticed about quarry - the Panamax sized frieghters (the big honking ones, max size for the Panama Canal locks). They're all owned by CSL, making money for Paul Martin's family.

Small world, coincidences abound.

Another thing I noticed when I was looking at Duncan's website -- they had the Grand Opening of his campaign office in April, and only got 120 people out to it (and it was a nice day). So clearly he needs something to help make him a popular guy around there.

I've got my google alert watching for any news of this guy.
