I saw your first post on this right before I went to bed on Saturday night and I stewed on it.
Yesterday, I sent an email filled with linky goodness to a friend who is a communications consultant (AKA Spin Dr) and here's the response:
I don't think these people really thought through this cute little idea. They think they're delivering a crafty little shot at the current MP and boosting the profile of their candidate, but it's really so
obviously a cynical move that it's not going to help them so much at all.

The genius of it is that nobody can say for sure that's what they're doing, even though it should be patently obvious to anyone with a brain. When they're called on it, and eventually the MSM will wake up and call them on it, they'll just blame it on Cullen and say "Hey, just trying to get things done for the people in the riding".
It really concerns me on a number of levels, one of which is that it's a very Rovian tactic.
I can't spill the beans, sorry. But, have already received one response from a member of the MSM who asked for my 'patience', theer will be at least one column about it in the paper later this week.

My photoshop skills are less than, well let's just say "less than". But I hoped it would satisfy those who weren't happy with the other picture (even though I added black bars). It was a cheap shot... my favourite kind. Happy Hour, Cheap shots, line em up.
