I hope you forgot to add I'm riding off on my sparkly pink unicorn because I'm tired and I need a break...so I can come back refreshed after a very short time and impale the reichwingers and fetus fetishists on my very pointy horn of truth and justice with even MORE vigour...and Oh yeah I DESERVE it because I've been working my ass off so there.
I hope that's what you really wanted to say and that you're not discouraged by those who have criticized other bloggers for writing about the U.S. election. As if any progressive couldn't help be moved by that spectacle of hope for change, while we live in a country where reason rules over passion...and look where it's got us eh?
Because if it's that I would just tell yeah whatever...yawn.
Anyway I just hope you are tired. I think a lot of us are. I can feel the energy oozing out of our blogosphere. I know I'm tired. I haven't been able to get into it ever since our election ended. Read what others are writing...there's so much of it...or leave comments.Just play videogames or watch mindless YouTubes.

It's a lot easier to fight (or flail) against an insurmountable enemy than to work towards something. Some apparently find it difficult adapting to new paradigms.

The only effective way to give up blogging is to find something even more interesting and interactive. It's a tough thing to do. Not checking email, not listening to the TV and radio, will also help.
Damn, I may not have been caught up in the US elections but I still checked in every day JJ. Same with you Matt, Drs. Prole and Frick, Simon and Dr. Dawg. Anyway, I hope you're just tired from all the wonderful work you do on this site and not frustrated with the blogosphere back biting. Anyway, you do deserve a break and I'm sure the kitties and puppy will love having more attention but please come back soon.
JJ - I add my voice. No doubt that you deserve a break, time to do other things in you day / focus away from the monitor. You've blogged hard and smart for longer than I have been lurking here (well, lurking with a wee comment from time to time) and that takes something.
