I'd go for the Navarre Bible. They have such complete commentary on everything ... but it does have that Catholic swing to it, which naturally I love but others might not...

Praise to our Most High God for answered prayer! I will continue to pray until a final decision is made. We truly serve an awesome God! God Bless.

Kim, I love the Psalms! I can't recommend a commentary but I can recommend an excellent devotional through the entire book of Psalms called Prayers, Praise and Promises by Warren Wiersbe. It's one I pick up over and over again.

I use the same book that Linda is recommending. I also use The One Year Book of Psalms published by Tyndale. They are both excellent.

The Crossway Commentaries series has John Calvin's commentary on Psalms. It's on my wishlist, but I can't really recommend it yet since I haven't read it. (Oh, it's online for free, too--go to the "Commentary" section at monergism.com)
