We had a much loved beagle who lived to almost 13. She was the best beagle we could have but she was full of crazy habits and irritating fixations!

I am again babysitting that 12-year-old beagle, whom I keep often. He has some annoying habits such as constantly following me if I leave the room and howling if left alone for even for a few seconds. He is very "needy" as far as needing constant attention and having to be with someone at all times. This gets on my husband's nerves quite a lot.

Our Beagle never howls or barks. And she doesn't follow us. In fact, she waits for us to leave so she can scope out any potential food items. Tonight, she was hanging around the garbage.
