I am so thankful for that assurance, too. We do not grieve as those who have no hope. A friend of ours recently went home to be with the Lord, and this has caused me to think a lot about the great assurance we have who trust in Christ.
Kim, I just received a phone call telling me a man in our church passed away last night.

I have known Tammy through the years and the thing that always stood out was her love for Jesus Christ. She shone with it. She is in the presence of our Savior and that is the comfort her family can have.
We never know when we will be called home.
