Pippin? I guess one pet named after a literary character is OK. Well, at least you are not one of those cat ladies who has named her 9 cats after each member of the Fellowship of the Ring. Or worse still, each Harry Potter kid.

Normally, we don't name our pets after literary characters, but the cat was born the night that the first Lord of the Rings movie came out, hence the name.
