Considering the environmental and cultural impacts caused by construction of the Songdo IBD on 1500 acres of tidal flat reclaimed land and the development plan for upscale high rise housing,65-150 floor office buildings,hotels, amenites and public space with no apparent plan for the workers needed to service these facilities, one could question the cost to benefit for this ubiquitous city sustainable LEED design designation.
