You are NOT whining or being a victim, you are venting. And it is a healthy thing to do! Sometimes a whole crapload of stuff hits us at once and all of us find ourselves utterly overwhelmed by that. Anyone who says differently is a LIAR. Personally, I give myself permission to be upset, sad, and lay that on anyone who will listen. We are your friends, so we are here for you. My mom and many relatives have diabetes. I don't want it, but will probably end up with it also. Then you can talk me through it. Hang in there, dear Pirate.
are you kidding? that was nowhere near whining (trust me...I like wine...I meant..well, ok, I meant wine...) Margaret is right...you have to let steam off every once in a while so you don't explode, or implode or something...either way it's nastier and uglier if you don't let it out. So go for it. Pirate - Vent away!! Everyone has times in their life when everything goes to s**t, and there is nothing that you can do about it except pray and ride it out. That's also when you will find out who your true friends are in this world.
You've gone through a lot already, but there will be more storms on the way. Batten down the hatches and call on your pirate crew to man battle stations! And we will gladly lend ears (or eyes) to the rants and offer up prayers for you. Always remember that we are here for you.
